Cabin Kim holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the State of Illinois.

He is a recipient of the Illinois CPA Society Excel Award. In the year he earned Excel Award status, only 16 CPAs received this honor.

He graduated with honors from Duke University. He then earned two degrees from Harvard: an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a master's degree in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School. At Harvard Business School, his classmates selected him as an Accounting Tutor. After several years of tax, investment, and accounting responsibilities in industry, he opened his accounting practice.

His interests include spending quality time with his family, community and professional events, church activities, finding and enjoying restaurant experiences, and watching professional and collegiate sports.
